Following up from earlier posts (including here), three of the top ten bestselling Alberta books at independent bookstores in the province were published by Summerthought. As a small, regional publisher, this makes us extremely proud, and also realize that there is a strong demand for the type of books we publish.
Lake Louise Past to Present is No. 2 on the list, our new children’s book A is for Alberta is No. 5 and the Canadian Rockies Trail Guide is at No. 7.

About Read Alberta
The Alberta Bestsellers list is compiled by Read Alberta through data collected by Book Manager. Read Alberta celebrates readers, writers and authors, journalists, editors and photographers, publishers, libraries, and all of the people who tell Alberta’s stories. The organization is a hub where Alberta’s readers, authors, publishers, booksellers, libraries, and educators can connect, support, and learn more about one another. It features Alberta-published books and magazines in celebration of the distinct, diverse voices coming out of our own province, amidst a shared backdrop of prairie fields, wind-swept badlands, boreal forest, rolling foothills, and majestic mountains.
